NBS NBS

AAIC and PSA

In accordance with the ITU radio regulations, it is necessary for each ship station to have an internationally recognized accounting authority. All maritime communications traffic must be prefixed with the officially recognized accounting authority identification code (known as an AAIC) for the accounting authority responsible for the settlement of their radio accounts. With one or more vessels sailing the seas with radio or Inmarsat satellite communications onboard, you may receive bills from various countries charging you for the communication costs from the vessel to the shore.

The Accounting Authority administers billing and settlement of the communication charges of vessels via any Coast Radio Station and Land Earth Station all over the word. NBS Maritime offers a complete range of PSA services: activation, deactivation, flag, and vessel name changes of mobile satellite terminals of Inmarsat legacy and all other transactions in Inmarsat electronic system accredited by multiple Flag Administrations or in partnership with other PSAs.ng
